Welcome to Child Nutrition Services! 

 

Good nutrition and learning go hand in hand.

The LUSD Child Nutrition Services department is made up of a team of food and nutrition professionals that are dedicated to students' health, well-being, and ability to learn. We support learning by promoting healthy habits for lifelong nutrition and fitness practices.

Meals, foods and beverages sold or served at schools meet state and federal requirements which are based on the USDA Dietary Guidelines. We provide students with access to a variety of affordable and appealing foods that meet the health and nutrition needs of students.

Breakfast and lunch will be free of charge for all students during the 2023-2024 school year. No applications are required for LUSD students. Additional meals or items may be purchased. Please visit MySchoolBucks.com to add funds to your student's account. We look forward to being back in the cafeteria and serving our students this year!

To file a program discrimination complaint, a Complainant should complete a Form AD-3027, USDA Program Discrimination Complaint Form which can be obtained online at: https://www.usda.gov/sites/default/files/documents/ad-3027.pdf, from any USDA office, by calling (866) 632-9992, or by writing a letter addressed to USDA. The letter must contain the complainant’s name, address, telephone number, and a written description of the alleged discriminatory action in sufficient detail to inform the Assistant Secretary for Civil Rights (ASCR) about the nature and date of an alleged civil rights violation. The completed AD-3027 form or letter must be submitted to USDA by:
